Welcome to my website. I would like to share with you some of my favourite photographs taken on my travels to various locations. I hope you enjoy them.

My name is Olie Horton. I was born in 1997 and I live in Spalding, Lincolnshire. During the past few years I have enjoyed taking various photographs of birds and local wildlife. Mostly in South Lincolnshire and North Norfolk, but also at other locations in the U.K and in Majorca. I am an RSPB member and volunteer at my local RSPB site at Frampton Marsh, Lincolnshire. This gives me plenty of opportunity to capture images of a wide range of birds in thier natural habitat.

NEWS / EVENTS

Exhibition at the Cley Marshes

Visitor Centre.

Just completed my third exhibition at the Cley Marshes Visitor Centre. Once again I met a lot of nice people, and enjoyed discussing my work and listening to any helpful advice along the way. A big thank-you again to Jonathan and the team at the centre. If you didn't make it this time to see my work, I'm planning to return during summer 2013.

LATEST PHOTO'S

April 2012.

Spent a week-end in Derbyshire with photographer Paul Shaw and his partner Allison. With the help of Paul's local knowledge, I managed to get some shots of Dippers for the first time, and a friendly posing Nuthatch. A great week-end spent visiting some new locations. Thanks Paul and Allison.

WILDFOWL AND WADERS.

This is a selection of photographs taken at various locations in the U.K, including Avocet ( my favourite), Sanderling, Oystercatchers, Ruddy Shellducks, Redshank and Heron to name but a few.

OWLS, RAPTORS AND RED KITES .

There is a healthy population of Owls in the surrounding country side of my home town Spalding. I'm also lucky enough not to have to travel too far ( 30 miles ) to see Red Kites. Occasionally, they also migrate as far as my local RSPB reserve at Frampton Marsh.

WATER, GARDEN, WOODLAND & SEA BIRDS.

This is my 'other birds' selection which includes Kingfisher, Jay, Swallows, Starlings, Gulls, Woodpeckers, Waxwings and many others. All taken with my trusty Nikon D40 in and around South Lincolnshire and Norfolk.

LANDSCAPES, SUNSETS & LOCAL WILDLIFE.

When the birds are being a little bit camera shy, there are still plenty of photo opportunities. Here is a selection of insects, local wildlife, landscapes and sunsets. In South Lincolshire our generous sky's do produce some impressive sunsets.

The print size is generally 310mm wide x 200mm high, within a mount size of 410mm wide x 300mm high. All prints cost £20.00 plus £4.95 to cover postage and packaging.
